About us

This Strouf family was established in 2002 on a warm May day. It was the second best decision in my life. The first, of course, accepting Jesus as my Savior. Every day is a gift with my husband and the children God has given us.

After 6 months of marriage, my husband started Victory Baptist Church. Yes, just six months after we became husband and wife we became Pastor and pastor's wife. It was challenging for me as I was just finishing my senior year at Golden State Baptist College, learning to be wife and a pastor's wife and working a full time job. It was quite an adventure, but I wouldn't change a thing. God used the church theme at my home church, NVBC, "For such a time as this" to settle it in my heart that God could use me.
After 2 years in the ministry I became a mommy! God blessed us with our first born son, Jeremiah Thomas. What a precious little gift he was. Two weeks before his second birthday he was diagnosed with a rare cancer. He battled this horrible cancer for two years and then God called him home. I have learned and continue to learn from this trial, but through God's grace and mercy (I mean that) I am here today with a peace that passeth all understanding. I plan to share some things I learned during this time of my life.

When Jeremiah was nine months old I became a mommy again to Kaitlyn. Two years later I became a mommy to Kristine and two years after Kristine I became a mommy to Kourtney. What a joy it is to be called a mom!
